J. A. Maverick has been writing professionally since 2020. That's right, as soon as Covid shut things down, it opened an opportunity for him to swing for the fences. He has been writing since he was a pre-teen, but it was never something he imagined as a career. His debut novel, Reborn, became an award-winner at the 2023 Spring BookFest Awards under Urban Fantasy. It is now also in the works to become a TV Series! 

J. A. Maverick started his career as a chef by graduating from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY back in 2001. After years of grueling work, he switched to print-marketing, where he helped run a company for over a decade. Later on, he became a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is currently working in the film industry with Chill Baby Productions.
